Who is Prof. Samira Hosseini?+

Prof. Samira Hosseini is a researcher, academic, and faculty trainer who has dedicated more than 10 years to training faculty across disciplines and empowering researchers to publish their work.

She is the author of more than 180 scientific publications and brings extensive experience working across diverse fields, including health sciences, natural sciences, social sciences, and the humanities. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to understand the unique challenges researchers face across different academic fields and to provide practical, research-informed guidance to help them succeed.

Is this only for a specific field?+

The first step is to book a strategic call through the link provided on our website.

Every prospective mentee is carefully interviewed and assessed during the strategic call. Researchers are invited to join the AAA program only after we determine that they are the right fit for the program and that AAA is the right fit for their goals.

AAA is an exclusive program and is not open to the general public. Admission is by invitation only.

Signature Program (AAA)

What do I actually receive when I join?+

As a member of the AAA community, you will receive lifetime access to comprehensive training designed to support you throughout your publication journey, including publishing in top-tier journals, preparing original research and review articles, conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and mastering advanced research methodologies.

You will also have access to weekly mentoring sessions with accomplished researchers and authors who serve on the editorial boards of leading journals. In addition, you can request Revision Clubs, where our mentors guide you through the process of responding to reviewers' comments and revising your manuscript strategically and effectively.

AAA members also have access to live Leadership Clinics, providing a dedicated space to discuss challenges related to collaboration, team management, and leading high-performing research teams.

How is the program structured?+

The AAA program is structured through a dedicated learning management platform, giving you lifetime access to the complete curriculum, including all lessons, resources, and downloadable materials in a pre-recorded format. This allows you to revisit the lessons as often as needed and progress through the material at your own pace throughout your academic career.

At the same time, AAA combines self-paced learning with live interaction and personalized guidance. You will participate in live mentoring sessions where you can receive direct feedback on your manuscript, discuss the different stages of your paper's development, and get guidance on navigating journals and the publication process. You will also have opportunities to connect and collaborate with other members of the AAA community.

In addition to participating in the live mentoring sessions and receiving direct feedback from our mentors, you will have access to recordings of the weekly mentoring sessions and Revision Clubs. You can also request Revision Clubs whenever you need additional support throughout your career.

Revision Clubs are dedicated sessions designed to help you respond strategically and effectively to journal reviewers' comments. Whenever you receive reviewer feedback and need guidance on how to address it, AAA provides a structured support system to help you navigate the revision process with confidence.

Is the program self-paced or live?+

AAA is completely self-paced, with lifetime access to all components of the program. You can revisit the lessons and return to any relevant section as many times as needed, allowing you to learn at your own pace and continuously refresh your knowledge throughout your academic career.

At the same time, your interaction with the AAA community and mentors is live and ongoing. Twice a week, on Saturdays, with sessions available in both the morning and afternoon, you have the opportunity to connect directly with our mentors, ask questions, receive personalized guidance, and get detailed feedback on your manuscripts.

This combination of self-paced learning and live expert mentorship gives you both the flexibility to learn independently and the ongoing support you need to move your research and publications forward.

What are the LTS and LLC sessions?+

LTS stands for Live Troubleshooting Sessions. These sessions take place twice a week, every Saturday, with sessions available in both the morning and afternoon, Central Time (US).

LTS is where we work directly on your papers and provide detailed feedback on every section of your manuscript. Whether your paper has been rejected, you are developing a new research idea, starting a paper from scratch, or already have a preliminary draft, we help you structure, strengthen, and refine the work at any stage of the publication process. The goal is to help you move your papers forward and get them published as efficiently and effectively as possible.

The Live Leadership Clinic (LLC), on the other hand, takes place once a month, on the last Friday of each month. These sessions are designed to help you overcome challenges related to leadership, collaboration, and academic relationships. Whether you are facing difficulties leading your team, working with students or advisors, managing conflict, or dealing with any other challenge that may be holding you back, the Leadership Clinic provides a space to work through those issues and identify practical ways forward.

Prof. Samira Hosseini draws on her experience as an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), together with her extensive experience in academia and research leadership, to help you navigate these challenges, make informed decisions, and continue progressing toward your academic goals.

What is the Mastermind Community?+

The AAA Mastermind Community is a dynamic and diverse environment that brings together researchers from more than 50 countries and across the full spectrum of academic disciplines.

The community includes AAA mentees, mentors, and administrators who collectively create a supportive, collaborative, and nurturing academic environment. More than a professional network, it is an academic family where members can connect with others who understand the challenges and aspirations of a research career.

As a member, you will have access to ongoing support from our mentors, who are available to help answer questions, provide guidance, and support you as you move forward with your research and publication goals.

Selective admission means that AAA is intentionally designed as a highly selective program. Every prospective member is carefully assessed, and only those who are identified as a strong fit for the program are invited to join.

AAA is not open to the general public. Admission is determined by the program team based on the applicant's goals, motivations, aspirations, and alignment with the values of the AAA community.

Because AAA provides lifelong access to its mentors, resources, and Mastermind Community, maintaining the quality and integrity of the community is essential. Do I need existing data or a draft to begin?+

You can join AAA at any stage of your research and publication journey. You may enter the program with existing data, manuscripts that have been rejected or stalled in the publication process, or completely new research ideas that you are ready to develop into a project.

The AAA framework and mentors will guide you through every stage of the research and publication process, from developing and structuring a new idea to strengthening an existing manuscript and navigating the publication process.

Whether you are an early-career researcher or an established academic, AAA can support you in advancing an established research line or developing entirely new areas of inquiry. The program is designed to meet you where you are and provide the structure, expertise, and ongoing support needed to move your research forward.

How long does the program take?+

The AAA training includes approximately 15 hours of structured learning content, covering the core material and frameworks of the program. Upon completing the full training, you will receive a certificate of completion.

However, AAA extends far beyond the initial training. Your access to the program, its resources, mentors, and community is provided on a lifetime basis, giving you ongoing support throughout your academic and research career.

Is there a certificate of completion?+

Yes. Upon completing the AAA program curriculum, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, which you can download directly upon finishing the required training.

What language is the program in?+

The teaching and core components of the AAA program are delivered in English, which is the primary language of instruction. However, subtitles are available in multiple languages, allowing you to select your preferred language and access the program content with subtitles in the language that is most comfortable for you.

Coaching

How is coaching different from the AAA program?+

Coaching is an underlying component of AAA and is integrated into many aspects of the program. It helps you identify and overcome the mental barriers, limiting beliefs, and other obstacles that may stand in the way of achieving your academic and professional objectives.

Beyond the coaching principles embedded within AAA, you also have the opportunity to participate in dedicated one-on-one coaching sessions. These sessions allow us to explore your challenges in greater depth, whether they relate to your academic career, professional development, leadership, or other areas of your life.

Each session is focused on a specific objective. Together, we explore the underlying challenges, develop greater self-awareness and clarity, and identify practical actions that you can take forward. Every session concludes with a clear set of agreed-upon actions designed to turn insight into meaningful progress.

Is Prof. Samira Hosseini a certified coach?+

Yes. Prof. Samira Hosseini is an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is also certified in Gold Mapping and other evidence-based coaching techniques.

She draws on these methodologies to help members of the AAA community overcome mental barriers, set meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies for achieving their objectives within a clearly defined timeframe.

What happens in a coaching session?+

In a regular coaching session, we begin by defining a specific objective for the conversation and identifying the particular challenge or goal the coachee wants to address.

The session then moves into a deeper exploration through a series of carefully structured questions designed to uncover underlying challenges, perspectives, and potential solutions. By the end of the session, the coachee and coach establish a clear action plan with specific steps to move forward and make progress on the identified challenge.

Depending on the complexity of the issue, the process may continue across multiple coaching sessions. Each session builds on the previous one, gradually uncovering the underlying factors that may be holding the coachee back and helping them develop greater clarity, self-awareness, and practical solutions.

The ultimate goal is to help the coachee move from insight to action and make measurable progress toward their desired objectives.

What is Life Mapping?+

Gold Mapping and Life Mapping are two coaching techniques based on a system developed by renowned UK coach Brian Mayne. Prof. Samira Hosseini is an accredited coach within the Brian Mayne coaching system and incorporates these powerful techniques into her coaching practice.

The methodology uses a structured combination of images and words to create a comprehensive visual representation of your goals. It helps you identify your primary objective, the supporting objectives that contribute to it, the actions required to achieve them, the timeframe involved, the motivations behind your goals, and the people or resources that can support you along the way.

By bringing all of these elements together, the system provides a complete and highly visual picture of where you are, where you want to go, and what you need to accomplish to get there. Do I need to be an academic for coaching?+

No, you do not need to be an academic to sign up for a coaching session. The coaching is applicable across different areas of life and can address challenges related to your personal life, career, goals, family, leadership, decision-making, or envisioning the next chapter of your life.

Prof. Samira Hosseini's coaching credentials and multidisciplinary experience enable her to work with clients across a wide range of goals, challenges, and life transitions. The sessions are tailored to the individual and focus on helping you gain clarity, overcome obstacles, make informed decisions, and develop a practical pathway toward the outcomes you want to achieve.

How many sessions will I need?+

For coaching, the most effective approach is typically to work through a package of 10 sessions. However, we recommend starting with five sessions so that the coachee can experience the process, assess their progress, and determine whether the coaching is helping them move toward their goals.

If the first five sessions demonstrate meaningful progress and the coachee feels that the process is valuable, we recommend continuing with an additional five sessions to build on that progress.

Alternatively, you can begin with a single introductory session to experience the coaching process, understand how it works, and determine whether it is the right fit before committing to a longer coaching package.
